GOD LOVES YOU!

I’m just getting back to my normal schedule after returning from our “Women of Substance conference”, which by the way was AWESOME! Yes, because we were hosted by our AWESOME God! His presence was strong in our midst blessing and equipping us! God truly deeply, inexplicably, unfathomably and immeasurably loves His children. How dare we doubt His love for us? (John 3:16)

STRUGGLING TO BE SALT AND LIGHT?

The bible commands us to be holy (set apart unto God) but until we believe the WORD more than we believe the world, we will never be fully separated unto to God. We will always struggle with our Christian walk. Why is this so? It’s because when we accepted our heavenly citizenship by becoming Christians, we automatically lost our citizenship of this world. We became legal aliens in the world (1Pet 1:14-16). Until we accept we are strangers in this world and stop trying to copy the ways and traditions of the world, we cannot be effective as the light and salt of the earth that we were saved to be.

BE ON YOUR GUARD

Until we arrive in heaven, no one is immune against falling therefore be on your guard, stay in the word so you don’t fall from your secured position (2 Pet 3:17, Rev 3:11).

TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR THOUGHTS

Be careful what you allow to stay on your mind. One of satan's tricks is to crowd your mind with his thoughts (thoughts that don't agree with God's word and plan 4 your life). If you accept his 'darts', by pondering on them, you become easy prey for the yoke or spirit of depression, oppression, suppression or invasion. Put a "no stopping, no parking" sign on your mind for every contrary thought. You need a clear mind and self control 4 a victorious and effective prayer life. (1Pet 4:7, 5:8). You may not have control over what comes into your mind, but you do over what stays.

HE OPENS AND CLOSES DOORS FOR OUR GOOD!

Onesimus was Philemon’s employee. When he ran away, he hurt Philemon and caused him some hardship. What Philemon did not realise was that God removed Onesimus for a season for good (Philemon 1:15). The God of open doors is also the God of closed doors. Whether He is opening or closing doors in your life, rejoice because everything God allows in your life is in your best interest (Rev 3:7)

THE VALUE OF FAITH

It is good to be rich in faith and 'gold'. But the good thing about being rich in faith as opposed to only 'gold' is that the value of gold and all it represents (currencies, stocks, bonds, cars, houses, e.t.c) are guaranteed to fluctuate and most times drop. But FAITH in God, never looses its value neither does its worth ever fluctuate. Are you rich in faith? (1Pet.1:7)

ASK GOD TO BE YOUR TEACHER

There are things about God's ways that humans will teach you that you will never comprehend. But when the God who knit every fiber of your being becomes your teacher, you will get it! He engraves His ways in your heart (Heb 8:10). Do you long to walk in all God's ways? Then pray like David "Teach me your way O' Lord and I will walk in your truth, give me an undivided heart that I may fear your name" (Ps 86:11)

Are You on Track?

There is a race marked out for you before the foundations of the earth, long before you were formed in your mother's womb. A race that is not a sprint, one that requires perseverance. Have you found your track? Or are you running on someone else'? Whose life are you living? Yours or your 'neighbors'? Heb 12:1, Eph 1:4-5,11.
